La dodgers stadium also known as chavez ravine is a stadium in Los Angeles located next to Downtown Los Angeles. Chavez Ravine has been the home of League Baseballs's Los Angeles Dodgers team since 1962. Dodger stadium was constructed from 1959 to 1962 with a cost of $23 million which was financed by private sectors or sources and now costing in 2014 $177 million dollars. It has a capacity of 56,000 with a field of 33 feet.

The name Chavez ravine was brought up to avoid always referring to the landloard so it will be directed to the geographic feature the stadium is situated. With the dodgers first president Walter O''Malley's who had a vision 50 years ago from 2014. Dodger stadium has hosted eight world series which the dodgers have la dogders has won 4 world championships from them in 1963, 1965, 1981 and 1988.

The team stores include two locations outside the chavez ravine stadium to get the Dodger gear. Also at the clubhouse shop at the Universal Citywalk and also the Topanga Plaza Mall based in canoga Park.

Tickets are purchased to the chevez ravine games at the CityWalk Clubhouse store which an authentic Dodger jerseys and caps and other merchandise are bought. Fans can also purchase LCD or led televisions which feature live dodger braodcasts and programming.
