Disney Animal Kingdom is one of the forest and animal environmental views and facilities from disney. Fourth of four disney theme parks by walt disney world resort. Its the second largest theme park in the world.
The tree of life, an artificial sculpted 145 foot tall and 50 foot wide. The part hosted about 9,8 million guests in 2011.Various places in the park include The Oasis which is the parks main entrance serving guests many habitats. Discovery Island which is located at the center of the park in the middle of Discovery River waterway and is the area that holds the artificial sculptured tree of life.
Africa a fictional creation of east African village Harambe and contains serveral animal games and exhibits. Rafiki's Planet Watch which is the only place disconnected from Discovery Island. It is only connected to Africa which guest are allowed to board the wildlife express train for a short trip around the area.
It also has conservation station which showcases various places which is supported by the Walt Disney Company. Asia was added in 1999 which is also a fiction of Asia from the kindgom of Anandapur meaning "Place of many delights". Other places include Dinoland U.S.A,Avatar World of Pandora,Nighttime entertainment,Camp Minnie Mickey,Beastly Kingdom,and Restaurants and shops.
At the end of 2012 it had received attendance of 9,783,000 (million) visitors. In 1998 Michael D.Eisner created a Dedication message which is now a welcome message which writes " Welcome to a kingdom of animals... real, ancient and imagined: a kingdom ruled by lions, dinosaurs and dragons; a kingdom of balance, harmony and survival; a kingdom we enter to share in the wonder, gaze at the beauty, thrill at the drama, and learn."
